Newborn baby found dead in Chloorkop veld (graphic content)

A man looking for metal in plastic bags made a gruesome discovery on Tuesday morning when he came across the body of a dead baby.

The newborn baby boy was found in a veld on Ossewa Street in Chloorkop around 10am.

According to Norkem Park SAPS the body was wrapped in a cloth and plastic bags.

Police appeal to anyone with information to contact them on 011-391-1814 or 011-391-1815.
