The financial services industry is preparing to empower consumers through its 2016 Financial Planning Week.
The financial services industry, led by the Financial Planning Institute (FPI) will embark on its annual information week from September 5 to 9.
During the week certified financial planner professionals (CFP) and financial planning practices will offer free consultations and financial literacy workshops to consumers, allowing them to take control of their finances and invest in their financial future.
Anyone can easily schedule an appointment with one of the participating CFP professionals and financial planning practices, where a number of financial planning topics will be covered such as financial wellness, basic financial plan, financial literacy courses retirement and investment planning, free consultations and business structure.
