SAPS observed Women’s Month

The event was an initiative hosted by the Employee Health and Wellness

Ekurhuleni North Cluster SAPS female police officers held their Women’s Month Celebration at Rabasotho hall on August 19.

Constable Patricia Mgijima said the event was an initiative hosted by the Employee Health and Wellness (EHW) and Tembisa corporates communications office.

“More than 200 female SAPS members, SAPS administration staff, Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department (EMPD) members and elders from different churches in Tembisa celebrated the day based on one theme – to empower one another and never look down on one another,” said Constable Mgijima.

The Station Commander, Brigadier Vuyokazi Ndebele pledged her support to female SAPS members during her speech.

Constable Mgijima said a motivational speaker Gabsile Khoza graced the event and music and entertainment was provided by upcoming local DJ Calvin MacDonald, “Anaconda”.
