Edleen domestic worker held up by three robbers

The armed robbers overwhelmed the domestic worker, she sustained minor injuries to her hand as she was trying to fight them off

POLICE are still searching for three robbers who held up a domestic worker in Edleen and fled the scene with stolen property including a TV and laptop.

The incident took place on Wednesday, September 7.

Alpha Security and Alarms general manager, Mornè le Grange, said they received a call from a client stating that there had been an armed robbery on Laurel Lane.

“Upon arrival it was found that three armed robbers had overwhelmed the domestic worker, she sustained minor injuries to her hand as she tried to fight them off.

“ER24 were called to the scene and found she only had very minor injuries, but was in shock and treated her accordingly,” explained le Grange.

The suspects fled the scene in a unknown vehicle.

Norkem Park SAPS spokesman Capt Lesibana Molokomme said police were investigating.
