Ivory Park SAPS gets additional sector managers

According to Ivory Park SAPS communication officer, Captain Bernard Matimulane, the three Captains Mpepele, Ramela and Mpungose, who are sector managers for sectors 1, 3 and 4 respectively, have resumed their duties in the course of last month and the beginning of this month.

The station commander of Ivory Park SAPS, Brigadier Mbongeni David Ngcobo, and his management team welcomed a team of newly-promoted sector managers who are looking forward to serving the community in Ivory Park.

According to Ivory Park SAPS communication officer, Captain Bernard Matimulane, captains Caiphus Mpepele, Lesiba Ramela and Walter Mpungose, who are sector managers for sectors 1, 3 and 4 respectively, have taken up their duties in the course of past month and the beginning of this month.

“They are all experienced sector managers, having been performing these duties from the stations they used to work at.

“They will complement other sector managers who have been working in Ivory Park. Over and above these additions, the management of the station has been recruiting from its ranks in the visible policing department and has redeployed 10 members in August and September as detectives to beef up investigative capacity in that unit.

“These detectives, like the sector manager counterparts, have already commenced with their duties,” said Capt Matimulane.

Brigadier Ngcobo said, “We believe that the addition of these new members will go a long way in improving service delivery in our policing precinct, and the managers will work hard to improve our relationships with communities we are here to serve.”
