Ivory Park music star, Mr Shaun Moyo, is hoping to go places with his talent as a rapper and song writer.

This 20-year-old musician grew up in Lobengula West in Zimbabwe and is popularly known as Verlton D.

His persuasion and great love of music saw him relocating to Ivory Park.

Verlton D’s music is being influenced by an American rapper, Wizkhalifa, and South African rapper Yanga.

“I am a God-fearing person but I believe hard work pays. I want to become one of the best rappers in Africa,” said Verlton D.

Verlton D met his new manager, Mr Develd Monyai, who signed him under his newly-formed company, Kamoraleng trading as B2B Entertainment.

Kamoraleng is a research and marketing company which was formed primarily to discover the missing African treasure, “A Pot of Gold”.

As a brainchild of Mr Develd Monyai, a seasoned media professional, a professional team is currently conducting research, documenting African stories to file them in their archives (manually or digitally) and tell stories as they are without being distorted.

The project will embark on a major collection of visual and documented material with a view to develop accessible interactive data to research their history.

In partnership with Media Tour Class, Kamoraleng has planned to launch Verlton D’s music video on Reconciliation Day, December 16, at Rider’s Place in Ivory Park, Extension 2.

The launch will start at 6pm.

The line-up of artists to grace the event includes Djs Anjo, Rider Junior, Rough The Mystic and many more.

Entrance is free.
