Condolences for his family and friends are pouring in
Condolences are pouring in for the young Hoërskool Jeugland pupil who died in an accident in the early hours of Monday morning.
The school announced on its Facebook page earlier today that Ivan Steyn, a matriculant at the school this year, was killed in an accident.
They expressed their condolences to his family and friends.
The accident happened on Zuurfontein Road when his vehicle collided with a steel pillar and burst into flames.
One of his fellow learners, Chanique Barnard, posted on Facebook: “Rus in vrede Ivan. Sal altyd onthou hoe ons albei gesukkel het met rekeningkunde en so gelag het daaroor. Sterkte aan sy familie en vriende. Julle is in my gebede.”
Leonie Kruger wrote: “Dit is verskriklik hartseer. Net so voor Kersfees. My innige simpatie.”
