Help spread kindness this Christmas

“My wish for this Christmas is for us to be good to each other, whether it is a small random act of kindness or just giving something to someone that needs it.”

The words of resident Jose de Carvalho, who did his bit on Saturday when he decided Oom Fred would also enjoy a nice boerewors roll.

“I was getting myself a boerewors roll and remembered this elderly man that was at a traffic light on Elgin Road, decided to get him a boerewors roll with all the trimmings. Also gave him a little something to get himself something for Christmas.

“He was so grateful and just chatted to me – it was so humbling,” De Carvalho wrote on his Facebook page.
