EASTERN Model Railway Interest Group (Emrig) will host a swap meet on Saturday, March 25.
The event will give train model collectors an opportunity to buy and sell railway items.
The swap meet will take place from 9am until noon at the club’s premises in Northmead Mall in Benoni.
For more information, contact Colin Tanner-Tremaine on 082 828 0665.
The club’s swap meet in December was the biggest meet in the history of Emrig swap meets, with 52 tables. However, the one on the 25th will be bigger still, with 56 tables.
These meets have proved to be great social events. Come along and meet friends old and new. And, don’t forget to satisfy that thirst for the greatest hobby in the world. Buy a train, or a wagon, some scenery, anything.
The event will give train model collectors an opportunity to buy and sell railway items.
Schools, shoppers, churches and old age homes are also welcome to visit Emrig on Wednesday, between 9am and noon, or on Saturday, between 9am and 4pm, by making bookings.
