Peermont Hotel School holds first graduation ceremony
Supported by the City of Ekurhuleni, this world-class institution is dedicated to hospitality training and development
The Peermont Hotel School (PHS), which was started just over a year ago by Peermont Global at Emperors Palace held its first graduation ceremony at the Red Roman Shed at the Palace of Dreams recently.
Supported by the City of Ekurhuleni this world-class institution, dedicated to hospitality training and development, gives youngsters from Ekurhuleni a 12-month bursary to train under hospitality industry professionals, which includes theoretical training as well as gaining practical insight into vital roles within the industry.
Each group of 72 learners spends two of the 12 months’ training at the school at Emperors Palace, two months at Emperors Palace working alongside the hotel’s world-class staff and eight months with various industry partners in order to hone their skills as chefs, restaurant service staff and housekeeping staff.
