Donations needed for Child Welfare Kempton’s jumble sale

Anything you don’t need any more which can be sold at the jumble sale is welcome

EMPTY your wardrobes and garages of old items you no longer need in aid of charity.

Child Welfare Kempton Park hosts regular jumble sales in order to raise funds and would appreciate donations of second-hand goods.

Anything you don’t need any more which can be sold at the jumble sale, including electrical appliances, furniture, clothes, decorative elements, curtains, household goods and even toys for the kiddies, are welcome.

“We are even prepared to fetch these donations from people who are unable to deliver to the office, or are located outside Kempton Park,” Child Welfare Kempton Park director Makha Thusi added.

“The money generated from the jumble sale helps the organisation to raise petty cash for everyday running costs. So we appeal to the public to please empty their wardrobes and garages for child welfare. Our belief is that your trash is our gain.”

The organisation is exploring the idea of having a jumble sale every fortnight.

If you would like to donate to Child Welfare Kempton Park, call 011 970 1814 or drop off the donations at their offices at 19 Maxwell Street, Kempton Park.
