THE roll-out of wheelie bins in Ward 16 will be explained to residents of the ward at a public meeting on August 28 at 7pm.

The ward includes Kempton Park Extension, Kempton Park Ext 2-4, Allen Grove, Aston Manor, Nimrod Park and Glen Marais extensions.

The meeting has been arranged by the ward councillor, Clr Jaco Terblanche, and will take place in the council chambers (2nd floor) at Kempton Park Civic Centre.

The roll-out in the ward is scheduled for September 4-16.

Also at the meeting, a review of the IDP 5 priorities in the ward will be addressed.

“Residents’ attendance is very important to ensure a smooth roll-out of the new bins,” Terblanche said.
