THE global A21 organisation will host its fourth annual walk in October to raise awareness about human trafficking in Kempton.
A21, which stands for Abolishing Slavery in the 21st Century, is a non-profit organisation with the goal of ending modern-day slavery.
“This is a silent protest – a signature line of participants walking against slavery and human trafficking. The event will be hosted by the A21 team from Kempton Park in collaboration with Kaleideo Community Church and City Gate Recordings from Midrand,” said Beninca Steyn of A21.

Companies can register for a team walk and raise funds or sponsor their members. People can also walk as individuals.
You can also sign up all your friends and ask them to donate a specific amount for the walk.
There will be entertainment on the day with performances by Blaque Nubon and Lily Milion from City Gate Recordings.
Actors Donnalee Roberts and Ivan Botha will make guest appearances and join the walk.
The walk will start at Avion Park Family Fitness Centre on Highveld Road at 9am on October 14. It will not cost a cent to participate. Registration will take place from 8am.
Last year the organisation had over 300 people walking in 30 different countries and this year they plan to pull in a bigger crowd.
