Technical glitches affect licensing centres

Customers are urged to visit nearby centres

SOME of Ekurhuleni’s driver’s licensing testing centres are currently offline due to technical glitches experienced nationally by the Electronic National Traffic Information System (eNatis).

Themba Gadebe, metro spokesperson, said the city logged a call concerning intermittent system faults with Road Traffic Management Cooperation (RTMC). Technicians are working tirelessly to restore the system.

Affected centres include Kempton Park, Alberton, Bedfordview, Springs and Etwatwa.

Customers are urged to visit the Edenvale, Germiston, Nigel, Brakpan and Benoni centres for assistance.

Gadebe could not say when the system would be up and running again.

“The City of Ekurhuleni apologises for the inconvenience this has caused.”
