Tembisa entrepreneurs benefit from business seminar

More than 100 local entrepreneurs attended a business expo/seminar at the RoyalHouse International Church.
On October 13 The Tembisan columnist Pastor Welcome Thamsanqa Mlungisi Dlalisa brought Tembisa entrepreneurs under one roof in a business expo that sought to deal with one of the major challenges facing entrepreneurs which is access to funding.
“The business seminar also addressed issues of digital marketing. The seminar was arranged in partnership with Blueberry, RoyalHouse International Church, Absa Bank, Pointers, JAM, Kingdom Care Centre, IDC and the Small Business Development Agency,” said Dlalisa.
He said these partners sought to make the dream of all aspiring township business entrepreneurs a reality through tools like business incubation.
Various presentations were given to all participants.
Dlalisa has been running his programme called the Joseph Achievers Mentoring Programme (JAM) for just over a year.
“I believe that the churches in Tembisa must join in and start supporting the youth in their area to set up businesses and even co-operatives in order to fight poverty and move away from Government dependency. This particular seminar was very productive and benefitted several entrepreneurs. The aim of the business seminar is to promote knowledge sharing and skills transfer,” said Dlalisa.
