Black and pink creates cancer awareness
Kempton Park Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing Department raises awareness for Cancer Month.
THERE are many ways people show their support during Cancer Month, October.
Employees at Kempton Park Motor Vehicle Registration and Licensing Centre showed their support by reporting to work dressed in black and pink last week Wednesday.

“We want to create awareness about cancer and emphasise the fact that it affects us all,” said the supervisor at the receiving and enquiries section, Rosina Ikaneng.
“Anybody can get cancer and we need to support each other and show that we are in this together; you don’t only show your support by giving money.
“Through this we also want people to get checked for cancer because you might not know you have it until you have been checked; early detection saves lives.
“We encourage other departments and companies to do similar acts to show their support because it goes a long way.”
