‘Gatvol’ South African wants to block highway on Monday
He calls on motorists to join him on Monday morning on the highway at Griffiths Road

“Ek is gatvol dat ons boere so vermoor word.”
The words of Harry Deysel from Germiston on his Facebook page in a post in which he calls on fellow South Africans to make a stand against farm killings in the country.
He calls on motorists to join him on Monday morning on the highway at Griffiths Road to bring traffic to a standstill from 6am 7am.
On Saturday afternoon it had been shared more than 3 500 times.
“This is not about race. It is about standing together against farm killings, as Government is blind,” he told Kempton Express.
“I only ask sixty minutes of your time to show we can stand together. Our farmers are worth it. Bring insulation tape to write ‘Stop killing the Boer’ on your car windows, or placards, anything, just do something,” he posted.
He hopes enough people will show up to block the highway in both directions.
Earlier this week a farmer uploaded this video following the latest farm murders.
