Temong resident hijacked in his yard

A case of car hijacking was registered at the Tembisa SAPS

The Tembisa SAPS is investigating a case of car hijacking in Temong Section.

The case was reported on October 20 at about 7pm.

Tembisa SAPS spokeswoman Constable Patricia Mgijima said it is believed the victim was coming from work in a company car – a white Ford Ranger.

While he was busy parking in his yard, he was accosted by three unknown men who all pointed firearms at him.

“The three men ordered him out of the vehicle. They then drove off in the vehicle. The victim’s cellphone was inside the vehicle,” added Mgijima.

A case of car hijacking was registered at the Tembisa SAPS.
