Body of man found dead on Besembos Street removed hours later
It is suspected that the victim may have suffered a heart attack while driving.
The body of a man who died in his car on Besembos Street near Builders Warehouse, was only removed from the scene hours later.
As early as 7am on Friday morning a police van and ambulance were spotted at the scene.
Police say they were notified by a resident who had noticed a car parked on the side of the road with a man inside. It is suspected the victim may have suffered a heart attack.
Spokesperson for Norkem Park SAPS Capt Lesibana Molokomme said on their arrival at the scene this morning they found the man dead. “So far, there are no signs indicating the cause of death.
“The body has been taken to a government mortuary. We have opened an inquest docket to determine whether the cause of death was natural or otherwise,” Molokomme said.
