“Coetzee was shot on her right upper leg by one of the robbers,” said Sue Taljaard, owner of Technogold. “She has since gone for two operations and is currently busy with physiotherapy.”
Taljaard said they received a lot of support from people after the incident. “We don’t want to focus on the bad but rather on the good,” said Taljaard.
“After the incident, people would come in to check up on us and find out how we were holding up. They would tell us they were praying for us and give words of encouragement.”
Taljaard said to thank everyone for their immense support and loyalty they are running a special discount on jewellery and watches.
