Spca cheer fund off to a slow start
The money raised this year will be going towards a quarantine facility
KEMPTON Express’ annual Kempton Park SPCA Christmas Cheer Fund got off to a very slow start with only two contributions made so far.
Kira Sparrow, manager of the society, said: “We are asking the public once again to please support our Christmas Cheer Fund. Last year the community contributed R56 959.05, and we are ever so grateful.”
The money raised this year will be going towards a quarantine facility that they would like to build at the branch.
All contributions will be acknowledged in EXPRESS on a weekly basis. The fund will close at the end of January next year.
Anyone wishing to donate to the fund may call in at the SPCA on Fitter Road, Spartan, or donate directly into the SPCA’s account, using the reference CCfund.
State your name after CCfund if you want your donation to be acknowledged in your name, otherwise it will be acknowledged anonymously.
