Star-studded battle for Miss Tembisa crown on Sunday

MISS Tembisa 2017 and Miss Tembisa Teen 2017 will be crowned at Rabasotho Hall on Sunday evening.
Siyaphumelela Youth Development will present the 16th annual Miss Tembisa 2017. It is the same organisation that has produced TV radio personalities such as Lindiwe Sebanyoni, Pearl Modiadie, Refiloe Motsei and Zama Dlomo just to mention a few.
The pageant has, over the years, changed the lives of many winners through bursaries from De Beers with the assistance of Tsepo Monaledi, alongside the current Gauteng MEC Panyaza Lesufi, station manager Sonnyboy Masingi, VOT station manager Ronny Makola, A Perfect Choice marketing director and Kenny Mametsa.
These local business people have worked tirelesly to make sure this youth development initiative makes a positive impact on the youth and community at large. SYDI has created job opportunities for more than 4 000 to date.
This year they will celebrate their 16th anniversary in style. All those who have benefitted from the youth programme are invited to the celebrations.
The prize money for the winner has been increased from R10 000 to R15 000 cash.
