The tree damaged the roof of the vehicle and the back windscreen
An Aero Park Ekurhuleni Metered Cabs vehicle parked on Central Avenue in Kempton Park CBD was badly damaged by a tree that fell on top of it on Tuesday afternoon.
The driver and owner of the vehicle, Emmanuel Ramodomo, witnessed the incident as it happened.
“I was sitting on a bench in the shade right next to where the car was parked when the tree fell on top of it,” said Ramodomo. “I was shocked and surprised at what I saw as nobody had pushed the tree or touched it, it just fell.
“Fortunately, nobody was in the car when the incident happened, so nobody was injured.”
Among other things, the tree damaged the roof of the vehicle and the back windscreen.
