Mountain Peak Children and Youth Development hosted a new pageant for children at Moriting Park on December 9.
Pageant co-organiser Busi Nkosi said the pageant was for young boys and girls and it boasted five categories.
“We had Mini Miss 1632, Petite Miss 1632, Pre-Teen Miss 1632, Junior Mr 1632 and Pre-Teen Mr 1632.
We also had different awards ranging from Mr & Miss Congeniality, Best Personality as well as the Public Choice Award,” said Nkosi.
She explained that Mountain Peak Children and Youth Development is a non-profit organisation aimed at developing the next generation by creating a platform on which they will be able to explore, express and demonstrate their talent in a comfortable and fun environment.
“We are also delighted to introduce our modelling academy called Mountain Peak Modelling Academy, where young boys and girls will be taught all about modelling. Bibi Ledwaba and I would like to extend a special thanks to Humphrey Mankwe who was kind enough to sponsor the event with the amazing graphic designs, as well as all our sponsors. We’d also like to congratulate everyone who participated. You’re all winners and we are so proud of you. This is just the beginning.”
