Christmas came early for 500 Ekurhuleni youngsters when they were treated to a fun-filled outing to Cedar Junction near Pretoria by the Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT) on December 1.
Yolanda van der Stoep was there to capture the memorable moments of the festive season made possible by PCT.
Peermont Children’s Trust (PCT), is one of Peermont Global’s flagship corporate social investment programmes.
Learners who were spoiled attend primary schools and aftercare centres that are supported by the Trust.
The schools comprise Welamlambo Primary from Tembisa, RP Maphanzela Primary from Tokoza, Fortune Kunene Primary, Nageng Primary and Thembimfundo Primary schools from Vosloorus, Khangezile Primary from KwaThema and Reahile Primary in Katlehong.
The centres provide supervised aftercare and a meal during the school term for about 650 youngsters.
In addition, the Trust also gives the learners food parcels for the mid-year and December holidays and supplies each child with a new school uniform at the beginning of each year.
