CHRISTMAS spirit was spread across various parts of Bonaero Park on December 16 from Carp Road to Farmers Market, Bonaero Park Shopping Centre to the two informal settlements on Mirable Street in Pomona.
Vonita Viljoen, chairwoman for sector crime forum and co-ordinator of the drive said the sweet packs were collected from the community and sponsors who were committed to seeing smiles on everyone’s face this festive season.
“We are handing out sweet packets such as soft sweets, fizzes, suckers and small toys that will be handed over to children.
She said the gifts will mean a lot to the receivers as it is not something they get every day.
“It is something to cherish,” Viljoen added.
