Panorama High School achieves 100% pass rate

65% of the learners performed well in the exams

PANORAMA Grade 12 learners of 2017 achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for the fourth consecutive year with three distinctions.

The school said 65 per cent of the nine learners who sat for the final exams last year performed excellently.

The school’s two top achievers were Juan Paul Barnard who scored two distinctions – one in Afrikaans as an additional language and one in computer application theory. Cameron Schreyer also managed to pass the application theory with flying colours.

Dimitri Theron, the principal of the school, said: “This is a remarkable achievement because learners attending Kempton Panorama School have barriers to learning.”

Theron also said the achievement can be attributed to the commitment shown by the school’s staff and the dedicated learners.

“Teachers made it their goal to teach the learners well, and helped them stay positive and focused,” Theron added.
