Don’t miss out on Kempton Express’ news on Facebook, make us a favourite

With Facebook having made significant changes to its news feed, articles published on Kempton EXPRESS’ Facebook page might not feature as prominently on your wall as in the past.

With Facebook’s new rules in place, content from media and brands will no longer be featured as prevalent as it had.

The move was made, Facebook said, in an effort to get back to the core mission Facebook started with of sharing moments of friends and family.

However, this need not mean that you miss out on news from EXPRESS.

You can make Kempton EXPRESS one of your favourite websites and include us on the list of sites you wish to see first on your feed.

You can select up to 30 people or pages to see first. Your selections are not ranked (your first selection is not seen first, your second selection is not seen second).

‘See first’ differs from ‘close friends’. When you select a person or page to see first, you won’t receive notifications of their posts. However, when you select a person as a close friend, you will receive notifications of their posts.

When you select a person or page to see first, their posts appear at the top of your news feed. The person or page will not know you selected them.

Here is an easy five-step guide to help you add us to your top list of sites to read:

1. Make sure you are following Kempton EXPRESS on Facebook.

2. In the bar at the top of your screen, on the right, select the arrow (desktop) or three stripes (mobile).

3. Select News Feed Preferences.

4. Select Prioritise Who To See First.

5. Select Kempton EXPRESS.
