The furry friends at Kempton Park SPCA get a visit and donation from Dewald van Deventer
KEMPTON Park SPCA welcomed a generous donation from House and Pet Sitting Connection on Saturday.
Founder of House and Pet Sitting Connection, Dewald van Deventer, was inspired by his clients to make the donation.
“The donation to the SPCA is in appreciation of all our clients for supporting our small business during 2017 and in particular, during the festive season,” said Van Deventer.
“I take this opportunity to welcome all our new clients and say thank you to all clients for their ongoing support.”
Prior to the handover, Van Deventer toured the SPCA premises which pointed out where help is needed and where he can assist.
Kira Sparrow, manager at Kempton Park SPCA, was pleased with the donation and said: “This is awesome. It is really great when people think of donating and helping before being asked.
“We encourage and welcome such acts, as they contribute massively towards caring for the animals.”
Van Deventer said he was a believer in giving back and together with Sparrow they are looking at a long-term partnership.
“We already have a common ground, animals, and we hope for a fruitful partnership going forward.”
Sparrow agreed with Van Deventer saying: “The SPCA relies solemnly on donations and we get excited when such developments surface.
“We are always in need of assistance with medical bills for the vet, toys, accessories and food to mention a few.“We always welcome donations, big or small.”
