Kembisa Constituency Democratic Alliance Youth (DAY) is running a matric farewell dance competition for all matriculants.

To make your matric dance night special, write a 300-word (one page) essay on the following topic: “What are my hopes, dreams, fears or challenges for the future in a democratic South Africa”.

Matriculants attending schools in the Kembisa Constituency may enter the competition and submit their essays to their teachers.

Kembisa Constituency comprises wards 6, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 and 91.

Prizes include a dress or suit, salon voucher, photography and transport.

The closing date is the end of June and essays will be collected from the schools.
