Tembisa youths find solution to poverty
Future plans of the brand is to have stores all over South Africa
Besides obtaining new skills to fight poverty, Tembisa youths need to develop a positive attitude to survive the reality of unemployment.
Ngeke Sizwe Ngani (NSN) is a new brand that speaks to young people in ensuring they do not need permission from anyone for them to succeed. Brand ambassador and NSN marketing manager Zinhle Sibanyoni said NSN was established by a group of young people – Ayanda Mkhabela, Motshabi Mokobori, Asiphe Somdaka, Esethu Somdaka, Makwena Tladi and Nomfundo Podia.
“The brand was not initially designed to be a fashion brand but instead it was meant to be a national slogan which is designed to give people high self-confidence to never allow themselves to be told by naysayers that they are not good enough with their bodies, work, talent or any other elements that affect a person’s self-esteem.
“Future plans of the brand is to have stores all over South Africa offering clothes that display a positive attitude and encourages young and old people not to allow negativity in their lives,” said Zinhle.
Zinhle said the brand’s clothing at the moment is ordered on their Facebook page: Ngeke Sizwe Ngani and they deliver all over South Africa.
She said they strongly believe people can be anything they want in life and therefore they plan to have sponsors who will fund the brand’s venture by giving a platform to create jobs for unemployed people.
“Unemployed people will be enabled buy #NSN clothing items and resell them at a profit by themselves so they can be able to provide for their families.
“The brand will soon be taking part in charity drives to donate items most needed and funds to support the less fortunate members of the community to prevent drug abuse and give unemployed a platform to start their own clothing brands,” Zinhle explained.
She said they would like to urge the community to support their NSN vision and assist them wherever they can so that as Tembisa youth they can grow in their business venture and be known nationally.
