Attend meeting about fibre roll-out in these suburbs
The open-access nature of the network prevents the duplication of infrastructure and drives down prices for the end-user.

A public meeting to discuss the roll-out of fibre in Esther Park and Edleen will be held at Laerskool Edleen at 6.30pm on June 6.
Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting so their questions and concerns can be addressed.
The roll-out will be conducted by Vumatel and residents can expect to see a flurry of pink activity in their areas over the next few months.
Vumatel builds the network in partnership with the community and connects every home, complex and apartment block to fibre broadband. They also connect every primary and high school it passes when deploying the network to free 1Gbps fibre broadband internet.
Vumatel is in close contact with ward councillors and residents associations and urges residents to contact the company should they have any queries or concerns. Should residents wish to receive construction updates, go to www.vumatel.co.za/coverage, and “Show Your Interest” in the fibre project.
Vumatel understands that the process of installing new infrastructure can be disruptive but requests residents’ patience.
Vumatel builds an open-access fibre network which means that Vumatel is not a service provider but simply installs the infrastructure. Residents can then choose from a number of internet service providers for internet packages. The open access nature of the network prevents the duplication of infrastructure and drives down prices for the end-user.
