Mandela Day dedicated to revamping Rabie Ridge Police Station

Suggestion boxes were installed in the Community Service Centre for the community to have a chance to interact with police

In July stakeholders were at work revamping Rabie Ridge SAPS as a gesture of goodwill as they observed Mandela Month.

Corporate communication at Rabie Ridge SAPS Captain Mofana Masela said management took a decision to engage with the public, SAPS members, patrollers, to improve the corporate image of Rabie Ridge Plice Station.

“Police provided paints while civilians, personnel, community patrollers and police members, rolled up their sleeves to make the police station a better place to visit. The front walls of the police station were painted grey by these dedicated individuals.

“Suggestion boxes were installed in the Community Service Centre for the community to have a chance to interact with police on how they want to be policed.

“The community can now congratulate hardworking officers by throwing their suggestions into the suggestion boxes.

“This will help to promote good policing and provide good service at Rabie Ridge policing precinct,” added Captain Mofana Masela.

Management of Rabie Ridge Police Station and station commander Colonel Johana Ngoma urged the communities to visit the station, and to provide suggestions, and to take initiatives to take care of the station.
