WATCH: High tea with a twist in aid of diabetic boy (13)

For only R100 women can make a difference in Vaughn's life.

Vaughn Priem (13) from Norkem Park Primary School is a little local hero. He fought for his life when he fell in a diabetic coma earlier this month, and he’s going to keep fighting until his parents can afford to buy a pump that will administer insulin to his body automatically.

This pump costs R52 000. The Priem family has already managed to raise more than half of the money, but are still R15 000 short.

This is why a few super women of Kempton Park have decided to take action. A high tea with a twist in aid of Vaughn will be held on October 6 at the NG Church Mooifontein on Maraboe Street from noon until 2pm.

The theme, in honour of Vaughn, will be superheroes. Buy tickets for R100 from Shantel Olivier (082 563 3845) to make a difference in this little fighter’s life.
