The Kempton Express invites ward councillor candidates contesting the 2026 local government elections in the Kempton Park area to step forward and introduce themselves to voters.

Candidates will have an opportunity to tell residents who they are, outline what they stand for, explain their plans for their ward and share what they hope to achieve if elected.

Interested candidates can email Kempton Express with the subject line “Election Ward Candidate” to request the questionnaire.

Candidates who participate will have their questions and answers published online in the weeks leading up to the local government elections on November 4.

The Q&As are intended to provide readers and voters with factual information about the candidates contesting their wards and the priorities they would pursue if elected.

Please note: This is not an opportunity for campaign advertising. Candidates must answer the questions provided rather than submitting campaign slogans, promotional material or prepared speeches.

Candidates must respond to this invitation by October 16. To participate, email kemptonexpress@caxton.co.za with the subject line “Election Ward Candidate” to request the questionnaire.
