Thusanang Sewing School is looking to help women in the community.
A sewing school based at the Kempton Park Methodist Church is offering unemployed women in the Kempton Park community a three-month basic sewing course.
This course is to help upskill women in the community. The church will supply all material and equipment, except for traditional outfits. The classes will start at 8am and end at 12.30pm every Monday to Friday.
If you know anyone who would be interested or if you would like to be part of this initiative, you can register for 2019 between October 1 and October 12 from 10am to 11am at the church. The first course will be from January 7 until April 3.
