Heritage Day celebrated with mopani worms and chicken feet

South Africans celebrated Heritage Day last week, and this school was no exception.

The Wisdom and Knowledge College in Rhodesfield celebrated Heritage Day in style as learners dressed in traditional wear and enjoyed a variety of traditional food.

A few items on the menu included chicken feet, mopani worms, samp and beans, rice in peanut butter and matemba (small dried fish).

“It was yummy,” Tsitsi Mlambo, a spokesperson for the school, told Express.
