Tembisans advised to use water sparingly
Rand Water experiences technical problems at water pump station

Rand Water is experiencing electrical problems at the Palmiet Pumping Station, resulting in a critically low water supply level.
The Klipriviersberg Reservoir was at below 20 per cent of capacity on Sunday.
In this light, restrictions on the water network have been applied to alleviate pressure on the reduced capacity and customers are urged to use water sparingly, said Themba Gadebe, spokesperson for the City of Ekurhuleni.
The areas that are mostly affected by low water pressure during peak hours include Bedfordview, Edenvale, Germiston and Tembisa.
Customers who may experience no water are urged to notify the City through the call centre by calling 086 054 3000 or through social media platforms.
