15 injured, two seriously, in taxi collision on Zuurfontein Road
The patients were all stabilised on the scene before being taken to hospital
Fifteen people were injured on Thursday evening when a taxi collided with a truck on Zuurfontein Road.
According to Ona Ndala of Gaumed Emergency Services, they received numerous calls at 6.30pm of a serious taxi collision in Esther Park on the corner of Parkland Drive and Zuurfontein Road.
“On arrival, our paramedics found a taxi had collided with a truck at the intersection and 15 patients were injured, with two male patients in their late 30s, seriously injured.
The patients were stabilised on the scene before being taken to a hospital.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate.
