R21 collision leaves two dead

Two people were killed in a collision involving two trucks and a car on the R21 on Friday evening.

Shawn Herbst of Netcare 911 said the accident happened around 10pm on the R21 south.

Two people tragically sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased on the scene. Another two patients were assessed and found to have sustained minor injuries.

Both patients were treated on scene and transported by another ambulance service to hospital for further assessment.

All necessary authorities were on the scene.
