Tembisa Old Age Home, which opened in 2014, still has rooms available for vulnerable elderly persons.

The home is a residential facility providing holistic health and psychological care. The qualifying age is 60 and older.

A social worker’s report is needed to motivate the application for admission. Also, the medical condition of the person must be provided by a medical doctor.

The fees for the home are R3 700 a month, of which R1 700 is their Sassa pension.

Interested persons can visit them at 754 Seotlwana Section to collect application forms.
