Fidelity ADT officer assists stab victim on CR Swart Drive
He waited, caring for the victim until paramedics arrived.
Reaction officer Mduduzi Mtetwa of Fidelity ADT had been praised for assisting a stabbed victim on CR Swart Drive on January 24.
A man was stabbed outside a pre-school at around 1.30pm and robbed of his cellphone.

Fidelity ADT’s control centre received a call for help via a WhatsApp group and Mtetwa responded. He arrived to find the victim bleeding.
He immediately requested that an ambulance is called. He waited, caring for the victim until paramedics arrived. The victim was taken to Tembisa Hospital.
“We are exceptionally proud of officer Mtetwa for his compassion and composure in a tough situation,” says Renee Basson, community development manager at Fidelity ADT.
“We take caring for our communities seriously and an incident like this shows just how caring our officers are.”
