Residents of Glen Marikana informal settlement on Dann Road are on their way to Kempton Park Civic Centre.
The residents are apparently protesting the fact that the land where they are supposed to move to in October is not ready.
The necessary law enforcement agencies and security companies are accompanying the marchers.
Motorists are advised to avoid Monument Road and CR Swart Drive.
