Support Slipper Day and help fulfil a child’s dream
For just R10 you can get a Slipper Day wristband and all proceeds will go to Reach for a Dream

Slipper Day on May 10 calls for South Africans to come together to help the dreams of many children across the country to come into fruition.
Once more, Wimpy will support Reach for a Dream, one of South Africa’s most treasured charities that has made dreams for children suffering from serious, often terminal, illnesses come true.
The foundation gives children the gift of fun and adventure – joyful parts of life they are often denied due to their illness.
Last year Wimpy raised R1.43 million from the sales of Slipper Day bracelets in store and gave away 42 151 free cups of Famous Wimpy Coffees on Slipper Day to all who wore their slippers and presented their wristbands.
Wimpy outlets are geared up again for this year’s event.
“Supporting Slipper Day is a great pride and joy for Wimpy because children are an important part of the family unit, and our brand is all about celebrating and supporting families. We ask all South Africans to come out in numbers in support of this worthy cause,” says Jacques Cronje, marketing executive at Wimpy South Africa.
For just R10 you can get a Slipper Day wristband and all proceeds will go to Reach for a Dream. The wristband is redeemable for a free Famous Wimpy Coffee on May 10 and remember to wear your slippers on Slipper Day to create awareness for the campaign.
