Shangri-La Academy’s 2019 matric class boasts a 100% pass rate in the IEB exams

Shangri-La Academy’s 2019 matric class boasts a 100% pass rate in the IEB exams, with 94% of the learners achieving bachelor’s degree passes.

Among them they achieved 50 distinctions with Angelique Sequeira the school’s top performer with six distinctions.

She had an average of 81% and obtained distinctions in accounting, Afrikaans, business studies, computer applications technology, English and life orientation.

Lehlogonolo “Junior” Manyakoana, with an 84% average, had five distinctions in accounting, business studies, English, mathematics and physical science. He is also in the top 1% nationally with his business studies mark of 93%.

Nathan Fisher, with an average of 80%, had four distinctions in Afrikaans, English, life orientation and life science.
