Precious is top achiever at top school

The learners achieved 74 distinctions among them with 88.5% getting university exemption.

With seven distinctions in the bag, Precious Makhubu was the top 2019 matric learner at Maranatha Christian School.

She obtained A’s in English, Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation, geography, life sciences and physical sciences.

Sixty-one matrics at Maranatha wrote the National Senior Certificate Examination and obtained a 100% pass rate.

The learners achieved 74 distinctions among them with 88.5% getting university exemption.

Cameron Turck obtained five distinctions (mathematics, life orientation, computer applications technology, engineering graphics and design, physical sciences).

Two learners got four A’s:

Jared Moll: Afrikaans, mathematics, life orientation, life sciences.

Amy Wilson: Afrikaans, life orientation, business studies, geography.

Kelebogile Mongatane and Kreolan Naidoo got three each.
