Brig Samuel Maredi, Kempton Park SAPS station commander, and his management team adopted Rhodesfield Technical High School during a visit to the school.

The visit was in line with the Safer School and Adopt-a-Cop projects.

“The purpose was to educate the learners about the dangers of crimes such as drugs in the school environment and bullying,” said Capt Jethro Mtshali, spokesperson for Kempton Park SAPS.

“Maredi also told the learners about the importance of reporting any form of crime to police and he formally adopted the school as one of the priority schools.”

The school was also excited about the visit and adoption.
