School bus and Chrysler collide in Bredell

On Tuesday morning just after 6 am, a school bus and a silver Chrysler Voyager collided on the corner of High and First roads in Bredell.

The accident didn’t result in any fatalities.

According to the metro police spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng, a number of patients were transported to Sunshine Hospital and that the recorded injuries were minor to moderate.

The driver of the Chrysler was transported to a hospital in Tembisa.

There are discrepancies as to exactly how many patients were transported to hospital, but according to Mokheseng and ILS paramedic from Sec Pros Stephan Henderson, the number of patients ranged between 11 and 28.
