EFF invites residents to meeting about Ivory Park SAPS’ poor service
The meeting will take place from 9am at Ivory Park Police Station

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) invites the community of Ivory Park to join them at a meeting on February 15 that seeks to hold the Ivory Park SAPS accountable for poor services provided by the station.
According to the EFF branch secretary, Tebogo Simusa, the station needs to be held accountable for different counts of failure, including failing to eradicate crime.
“Crime in Ivory Park is being perpetuated by police through bribery and missing dockets. Gender-based violence is an issue in the entire country that needs to be tackled by the police, yet we don’t see any results, only rhetoric.
“The meeting will take place from 9am at Ivory Park Police Station. We have responses for our memorandum of demands from our previous protest march, and nothing of the things they promised to do is happening. We, therefore, call upon all concerned and responsible community members and stakeholders to join hands with us to hold the SAPS in Ivory park accountable.
“As the community, you are also allowed to come and present all issues that has to do with the Ivory Park SAPS and issues involving the safety of the people of Ivory Park,” concluded Simusa.
