Help Kreft Primary School by donating towards its learner feeding scheme
Current sponsors cannot keep up with the demand
Kreft Primary School appeals to organisations to come forward and assist in feeding hungry tummies in their school.
Elrike Pieters, a teacher at the local primary school, said the school would love to be able to provide more meals for 70 learners but are limited due to a lack of sponsorships.
“We have 70 learners who are in need of the school’s assistance because the circumstances at home are bad.
“The following organisations are currently providing food on a weekly basis: Gateway Church, Gereformeerde Kerk Kempton Park-Noord and G4 Civils. Thank you also to Operation Anti-Freeze who often donates food parcels and other necessary items.
“However, our great sponsors simply cannot keep up with our demand.
“We wish to provide the disadvantaged children with important meals each day, but with no government funding or solid assistance, it becomes difficult to help them.
“Therefore, we call on residents to assist us in any way possible,” said Pieters.
